D.W. Smith is a leading estate agency throughout the Bristol area. We were recently engaged to design and refit their office with the brief being to provide a unique ‘high end’ interior, that was not only welcoming and functional but also complimentary to the company’s branding.
The Overview
Timescales and project duration were one of the key factors in managing the contract works as the works were so extensive, the office had to be vacated. The team at Business Designs pulled “all stops” and entire physical works were completed in less than one month.
We designed and planned the new interior including mood boards, sample furniture and interior finishes.
Upon commencement on site, we demolished most of the interior partitions and ceilings and we then set about drylining the interior walls including tape, jointing and decoration.
A new 600mm x 600mm suspended ceiling was installed along with new LED lighting. We extended and upgraded the client’s data cabling and power installation to suit the new layout including installation of new patch panels and a data cabinet.
We created the executive offices with sleek, floor to ceiling frameless 10mm ‘crittal-effect’ glass partitions and doors.
All existing flooring was removed and replaced with JHS Safety Plus Walnut Timber flooring LVT and new barrier matting. To the executive offices we fitted eye catching Tarkett Traverse tiles, in a burnt orange finish.
We supplied new white bench desking and storage throughout the main office areas and contrasting Zebrano finish storage.
Finally, high quality signage and point of sale equipment was installed to complete the unique look we had agreed with the client.
